Take Advantage of Open Enrollment Before It’s Too Late!

For many people, the open enrollment period for health benefit plans will soon close. We know that evaluating insurance and benefit plans can be complicated. Selecting the right plan depends a lot on your expectations for the year ahead, but none of us have a crystal ball to predict unforeseen needs. With dental care, there may not be as many choices, and it could be as simple as electing to enroll (or not) with no additional options.

Even if we aren’t your dentist, we want to emphasize that taking care of your oral health is just as important as your overall health. Numerous studies have shown a connection between gum disease and many other conditions, including heart disease, stroke risk, and diabetes. We encourage everyone to enroll in a dental plan when it is available.

Most dental plans offer comprehensive preventative care and can save you a lot of money should you need treatment. In addition to what you do every day, i.e., brushing and flossing twice daily, regular dental visits should always be a priority. Downtown Franklin Family Dentistry helps by keeping your oral health in shape and identifying problems early. This will save you money in the long run by preventing complex issues that are more expensive to fix.

Protect your health by signing up for both health and dental coverage. Ensure your optimum health in the new year and maintain a healthy smile and your overall health by choosing a dental plan with your health insurance package. If you don’t elect to sign up now, you can make changes to your benefits following a qualifying life event such as a marriage, having a child, or a new job.

If you ever have questions about your dental benefits or choosing the best plan, feel free to give us a call and we’ll be happy to talk through the options with you.

Cheers to your health in 2023!
